Two of the suspects were on probation in Okaloosa County for grand theft auto.
DeFUNIAK SPRINGS — Three teenagers from Okaloosa County are behind bars facing felony charges after they allegedly crashed a stolen car and fled the scene.
A 911 call was received by Walton County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers at 4:06 p.m. Friday regarding a white Toyota Prius involved in a crash on County Road 83 near County Road 192. The vehicle had left the road and hit a culvert before it ended up back on CR 83.
The teenagers fled when deputies arrived. A K9 unit from Walton County Correctional Institution was sent in to help in the hunt, but two of the youths were quickly captured. The third teen, later identified as 17-year-old Jeffrey Blaze Brown, later was seen running from a wood line by a Sheriff’s Office major on his way home from work.
Brown, Raven Nunn, 17, and Dakota Ralph Kesinger, 18, were charged with dealing in stolen property and obstruction of justice. Brown and Nunn were on probation in Okaloosa County for grand theft auto.
All three teens were booked into the Walton County Jail.
