Coast Guard reports man was found safe after more than four hours in the water.

PANAMA CITY — In a news release from the Coast Guard’s Eighth District headquarters out of New Orleans, a missing jet skier was found after more than four hours in the water by a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission boat crew near West Bay Bridge in Bay County.

The FWC boat crew rescued 53-year-old Michael Labron at 11:50 p.m. Saturday and transported him to awaiting emergency medical services at Colony Club in West Bay, Panama City. Labron was wearing a life jacket.

Coast Guard Station Panama City received a report at 7:12 p.m. Saturday from the FWC that Labron had gone missing after being separated from his brother. The exact location of where Labron, whose address was not noted, went missing was not reported.
