Connor Bozick has signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Detroit Lions of the NFL.

He is the son of Navy Cmdr. (Retired) Ken Bozick and Vickie Bohannon Bozick. He is the grandson of Mary Katherine Daw Bohannon and the late Curtis Bohannon, and John Bozick and the late Judith Bozick. Most of his family is from the Jay, Milton and Pace areas.

Bozick, a 6-foot-five, 320-pound offensive lineman, was a five-year member of the University of Delaware football team, concluding his career this past fall.

He competed at guard and tackle during his career at Delaware. He appeared in 46 career games with 24 straight starts and never missed a game since his redshirt freshman season in 2013.

He had numerous post-season awards and accolades and played in two post-season all-star bowl games, the FCS National Bowl and the Dream Bowl.

Bozick’s football pedigree runs deep: His grandfathers Curtis Bohannon, Florida State University, and John Bozick, Penn State University, started this legacy.

His father, Ken Bozick, played at the United States Merchant Marine Academy and uncle, Bruce Bozick, played at the University of Kentucky.
