Choctaw High gym was near capacity Saturday as people jammed the stands to see alumni from Choctaw and Fort Walton Beach High Schools square off in the Hoops for Hope charity basketball game.
Impact Emerald Coast hosted the event for Xavier Palmer and his family. Xavier, an incoming freshman at Choctaw, was recently diagnosed with Stage III lymphoma. All proceeds from ticket sales and raffles will go to help pay the family’s medical expenses.
