WALTON COUNTY — A Pensacola man is in serious condition after a wreck involving two semi trucks Sunday night.
According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, 57-year-old Russell Adams of Winter Garden, Florida was traveling eastbound on Interstate 10 at the 91 mile marker in the outside lane around 7:36 p.m. Sunday in a 1983 tanker truck.
Arnold Gillespie, 52, of Pensacola was traveling behind Adams in a 2015 semi and collided with the rear of the tanker. After the collision, the truck overturned and came to a rest on the south shoulder of the interstate, the release said. Eastbound lanes were blocked for about four hours.
