State parks to offer free admission Saturday

To honor all who have served and are currently serving in the military, there will be free admission to all state parks Saturday on Veterans Day.

To honor all who have served and are currently serving in the military, there will be free admission to all state parks Saturday on Veterans Day.

Florida state parks also offers year-round discounts on annual entrance passes to those serving or who have served in the military, veterans with service-related disabilities and surviving spouses of members of the military who have fallen in combat.

In celebration of Veterans Day, several parks will host special events this weekend:

Topsail Hill Preserve State Park will feature Honoring Veterans: Past, Present and Future

Highlands Hammock State Park will host the 32nd Annual Civilian Conservation Corps Festival

Fort Clinch State Park will feature the History of the American Soldier

The Barnacle Historic State Park will present The Barnacle Under Moonlight Concert
