NICEVILLE — Officers responding to a call of a car being at a gas pump for over an hour arrived to find a woman shooting up in the driver’s seat.

According to a report from the Niceville Police Department, on New Year’s Eve officers were called to a gas station on John Sims Parkway after being advised a car had been parked at Pump 9 for over an hour.

When one of the officers approached the vehicle, he immediately noticed the female driver was “shooting up” an unknown substance. The officer opened the door, took the woman out of the car and placed her in handcuffs.

While searching the car, officers found a loaded syringe, cut straws, a spoon, alprazolam pills, cyclobenzaprine pills and methamphetamine.

The woman was arrested and charged with possessing a harmful new legend drug without a prescription, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and drug equipment possession.
